This initiative reflects a focused effort to meet North Carolina\u2019s workforce development needs while supporting students\u2019 economic security.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"insights  col-12 col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1 ecity\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Proven Model, Tailored for North Carolina<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"insights  col-12 col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1 ecity\">\n<p>NC Community Colleges Boost is built on the City University of New York\u2019s Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (CUNY ASAP) model\u2014a nationally recognized approach that has doubled graduation rates for students across multiple states.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"insights  col-12 col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1 ecity\">\n<p>North Carolina has adapted this model to align with workforce development goals identified in the state\u2019s PropelNC initiative. The result: a program designed to help students complete their education faster and enter key industries critical to North Carolina\u2019s growth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"insights  col-12 col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1 ecity\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where and How It Will Launch<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"insights  col-12 col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1 ecity\">\n<p>BOOST will roll out in two phases over the next two years, serving students at a total of 15 colleges across the state:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"insights  col-12 col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1 ecity\">\n<p><strong>Launching in 2025:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"insights  col-12 col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1 ecity\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Alamance Community College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bladen Community College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Caldwell Community College &amp; Technical Institute<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cape Fear Community College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Central Carolina Community College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Central Piedmont Community College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cleveland Community College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Forsyth Technical Community College<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"insights  col-12 col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1 ecity\">\n<p><strong>Adding in 2026:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"insights  col-12 col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1 ecity\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Isothermal Community College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Johnston Community College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>McDowell Technical Community College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Robeson Community College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sampson Community College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wake Technical Community College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Western Piedmont Community College<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"insights  col-12 col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1 ecity\">\n<p>BOOST\u2019s approach includes timely and relevant student supports, dedicated advising, and incentives to help students stay on track and complete their programs as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"insights  col-12 col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1 ecity\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Statewide Partnership<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"insights  col-12 col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1 ecity\">\n<p>NC Community Colleges Boost is a collaborative effort involving NCCCS, participating colleges, students, and the state. The North Carolina Community Colleges Foundation, a non-partisan, nonprofit organization that supports the System\u2019s mission, will serve as the partner in managing this substantial grant program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"insights  col-12 col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1 ecity\">\n<p>By combining evidence-based strategies with a deep understanding of North Carolina\u2019s workforce needs, BOOST is positioned to help both students and the state build a stronger, more prosperous future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"insights  col-12 col-sm-12 col-md-12 col-lg-10 offset-lg-1 ecity\">\n<p>Dr. Nicole Ditillo, Boost Program Director for the NC Community College System Office, said it best, &#8220;Today marks the beginning of something powerful.
