Individual and group formats are used.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Social Coaching<\/strong> \u2013 Get help balancing school, work, and life with support from someone who understands. Individual and group formats are used.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Workshops<\/strong> \u2013 Developing a plan to graduate, exploring career pathways, and understanding soft skills are just a few workshop topics we cover<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mock Interviews<\/strong> \u2013 Practice presenting yourself professionally, arriving on time, dressing the part, and asking the right questions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Industry Tours<\/strong> \u2013 See what real-world jobs look like and imagine yourself in those roles.<\/li>\n<li><strong>College Tours<\/strong> \u2013 Visit four-year campuses, explore your transfer options, and get a first-hand view of that environment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Clothing Closet \u2013 <\/strong>Business Casual &amp; Professional Clothes<\/li>\n<li><strong>Health &amp; Wellness Advocacy <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Life Skills &amp; Career Interest Inventories <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>National, State, &amp; Local Conferences<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Service-Learning Projects<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<!-- \/Large card -->\r\n\n\n\r\n<div class=\"fy-text-block\">\r\n\t<div class=\"fy-text-block__container  container\">\r\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\r\n\t\t\t<div class=\"fy-text-block__content col-12 col-sm-12 offset-md-1 col-md-10 offset-lg-2 col-lg-8\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<h2 data-aos=\"fade-up\" class=\"fy-text-block__title fy-h2\">Advocacy &#038; Goals<\/h2>\r\n\t\t\t\t<p data-aos=\"fade-up\" class=\"fy-text-block__text fy-paragraph\">This statewide initiative is active at 21 community colleges in North Carolina, providing support services to\u00a0 students using funding allocated by the state. Statewide workshops, conferences, and other collaborative efforts are facilitated through the state initiative.
